Cause Communications’ Toolkit Earns Top Industry Honor
In April 2006, the Council on Foundations awarded the Communications Toolkit with a Gold award in the Wilmer Shields Rich Awards for Excellence in Communications.
Published by Cause Communications and written by President and Founder R. Christine Hershey, the toolkit has been distributed in 21 countries across six continents. Recognition from such a prestigious awards program reinforces the need for industry best practices in communications, and the importance of such tools in helping nonprofit professionals.
The toolkit garnered the industry honor in a year with a record number of entries. Now in its 22nd year, the Wilmer Shields Rich Awards recognize leading communications programs, and seek to educate the field of organized philanthropy about creative and strategic communications.
